TIP OF THE WEEK: MET Opera Tickets on Sale!

met operaHello Opera fans! Yesterday the tickets for this season’s MET Operas went on sale for MET Opera Priority Members. Tickets for everyone else will go on sale Wednesday July 20th. We know that it is tough to get these shifts sometimes because they fill up fast. Also not all performances will have comps available. This past season most performances approached sell out. But with the Cinemark 14 now showing the Operas again and with the ever changing difficult parking situation at the Center, we’ll have to wait and see how well they’ll sell this year! If you’re interested in buying tickets in advance please feel free. (Ticket Office is open 12:00 PM-6:00 PM MondayFriday).

services_trainingYou’ll notice on the Listing of Events that we have a TENTATIVE date for the mandatory training and it is Tuesday August 9th from 5:45 PM- 9:00 PM. Right now it is tentative as we’re awaiting a definite confirmation from our NDSP representative, but we have a good idea that this will be the date. This should be confirmed by time we open shifts next Sunday.

In the meantime please check your schedules and save the date.

Again our training is going to focus on safety and emergency procedures and we stress that this is mandatory, as we want everyone to be as prepared as possible for an emergency situation during a shift. Please let us know if you have any conflict that would keep you from being able to make the training. Thanks!
