The search has concluded for our new Executive Director. The committee searched high and low across the land only to find that the right person was already in the building! Yes, Ted Barron has been named the Executive Director of the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center! Please send out a big congrats to Ted and welcome him to his new position. We’re all excited here to enter this new chapter of the Center with Ted at the helm.

June 2016 Calendar
This year the Ticket Office has decided to remain open for June. From June 1st to July 1st (Monday-Friday) the Ticket Office hours will be 12:00 PM- 5:00 PM, plus it will be open one hour prior to ticketed show times (if there are any!).
The regular business hours of Monday–Friday, 12 PM to 6 PM (plus one hour prior to show times), will resume on Tuesday, July 5
You’ll notice that you are all signed up for the event on Wednesday June 8th. If you can make it please confirm so we can get an accurate headcount. If you can’t make it, please remove yourself from the shift and we promise not to hold a grudge! As with years prior we will be ordering chicken and welcome you to bring side dishes and desserts. We normally have an astounding amount of fried chicken but this year we’ll mix it up and get grilled chicken as well. (I guess that might be healthier.) So we can get an idea of what percentage of fried and grilled chicken we should get, please send us an email with your preference so we’ll get enough of both. Also if you have any other dietary concerns please let us know.
For the recognition part, we’ll be handing out our hours pins to those ushers who’ve passed our milestones.
Then we’ll close the evening with a screening. This summer Interim Executive Director Ted is planning a summer series of movie classics on Wednesdays starting in July. We’d like to do an unofficial kick off for this and show a classic film that represents summer escapism at its finest. We’ll be showing the 1981 classic adventure RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK. It’ll be great to see Indiana Jones on the big screen…in Indiana! Hope you can all stay to enjoy!
For your info, the Ticket Office will have adjusted hours for Commencement weekend. The hours are:
Friday May 13th: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Saturday May 14th: 8:00 AM-10:00 AM, 12:00 PM-2:00 PM, 7:30 PM–9:30 PM
